Has anyone had experience integrating BACnet into iRidium? Are there any developers in the community that would be able to provide such a driver? This would provide a sound means of integration between building HVAC systems, lighting systems, security and AV.

Hi Ekaterina,
Thank you for your response. This year is coming to a close, do you think that a BACnet driver will released prior to December 31st? Is there an anticipated cost for the driver? Do you offer support for driver development? Can I pay for the development of the driver so that I own it?

Hi, I talked with developers again and have another info now... no, it will not be available prior to December 31st. May be it will take up to year, depends on iRidium Server status. We have no information about price for now.
No you cannot pay for development of native iRIdium drivers. If you want to develop it using opened JS API, you can do it and sell your JavaScript Module.

	Hi,
When you have more immediate projects and need to control BACnet you can use a Logic Machine (openrb.com) with a KNX license for iRidium.
Thanks,
Roger

Hi
This is no different to any iRidium KNX project, Only difference is that on the Logic machine the group address is mapped to bacnet address
Thanks,
Roger

Hi,
Native BACnet support will be good to have. It's an european standard CEN TC247 and nice to work with ;)
