Hi,

It is possible with some android devices with an USB OTG cable to connect to usb/serial convertors, I've tested with some free terminal apps for Android. The only thing what isn't working at the moment is the possibility to open a serial port in iRidium on Android platform. Also for bluetooth it should be possible to do it, if iRidium supports serial ports on Android.

Please add support for serial ports on Android.

Thanks

Hello,

Is it possible to install on a mobile phone android Galaxy S4 as for example, a virtual serial port to the USB port using a port emulation driver RS232 (as is done on a PC).

It would be for application to a wheelchair for a person with disabilities.

I will use on i2control KNX driver and the serial port RS232

Best regards,
Patrick
Hi Pathrick
This question has been discussed in another string, but in general, the driver for virtual COM cold be provided only by USB-2-COM cable developer, or you can use an external converter from TCP/IP to RS232.
