Frustrated....!! Should I be looking at a different control solution..??

Shaun Moloney 8 years ago in JS modules updated by Ekaterina (head of support) 8 years ago 6

I am not sure why but maybe someone could please provide some feedback as to why there is still no MiOS/Vera support in iRidium?? The Vera 3 and the Vera Edge on of the most popular Z-Wave gateways available why is there such an issues with getting a native Script/Driver from iRidium and or the community?

I am also equal as frustrated that here in Australia were we don't speak Russian the only please that it seems you can by the Fibaro / Z-Wave Script/Driver Licence is from a site ALL in Russian and that NEVER respond to enquires.

Please iRidium I love you software and want to support and sell it here in Australia but its hard when you don't offer support for MiOS/Vera.

Someone.....Anyone.....Please HELP!!

Happy to pay a fee for the drive also

Hi all, driver and all documentation finished.

I have submitted everything to iRidium for checking and inclusion on the site.

If you want to get a hold of it sooner, just email me at iridium@hartsco.com and I'll forward you a demo version.

I will be continuing to develop the driver, so if there is any functionality missing that your require, please let me know and I will add it.

Dear Shaun

You have created 3 topics about Vera, and you can see the information about Vera drievr in one of them. We are waiting with you for Vera driver from Demian Harting, but we cannot force the development of external intergators. I hope it is clear. iRidium team is not working on Vera and Z-Wave drivers - it is an external products developed by our integrators.

If we talk about RaZberry module for Z-Wave, you can find a documentation in english attached:

You can also see that the JS file is in english.

Please ceap calm and wait for driver from Demian. We are also waitig. Thank you

Hi Ekaterina

I appreciate what you are saying and thank you for the response. I guess what I am saying is that I don't understand as to why iRidium would develop a driver themselves. Never the less I am grateful for your response and you taking the time in clearing this up.

Cheers

Thank you for your feedback, Shaun.
The main reasons why we are not able to develop all the requested drivers:

  1. We are working on really many products and they are added in some kind of "list", if this list is too big, we are not adding the new drivers. *** This list is too big for the moment ***
  2. We are working on driver only if we have an equipment to test it locally. We do not have "Vera" in office. I hope it is clear that we cannot buy all the interesting equipment... If you want to send us some device for developing, we have to discuss the "paragraph 1" and then do it

iRidium 3.0 is coming, we'll make a Market place there. It will be easier to develop some driver and post it for sale, I hope that all the interesting products will be there soon!
