Is there any news how this could maybe change in the nearby future? In our company this is an actual problem too.

When you click on an item(a button) in the project overview tree then you get then the button gets selected in the "design area". when this button is located outside of the current view then the view is not scrolling left/right, top/bottom to visualize the selected item( i have added a screenshot with some comments, hope this helps to understand my remark)

Could double click an item open the macro editor window ? or a least does something usefull ?

For reference: in windows 7 i had succes with passing command line parameters.

Create a windows-shortcut(link) to your program with the parameters.

In IR you can use IR.execute("c:\\folder\\shortcutWithParameters.lnk")
