What happens when computer running i3lite Server malfunctions?

I have a project in i3lite implemented with KNX BAOS hardware without server and it is working perfectly fine. In order to implement voice integration I am planning to implement i3lite Server running on a windows computer.

1. What happens if the computer shutdown or malfunctions? Will the project continue to work through the BAOS KNX gateway without any changes?

If the same project is running on the server, then when the server is shut down, it can not work on the panel.

So if the computer malfunctions or shutsdown, until we replace of fix the computer the iPad and iPhone panel do not work.

Is there a workaround until the computer is fixed?

You're right, until the server is restored, the system will not work. As an solution, on any other "temp" computer to install the server, activate and everything will continue to work further.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

I wish the existing project works without the voice feature when the Server is down.

As an integrator I am worried about support if the computer goes down for no fault of mine and my client feels he got a bad solution.

It is for this very reason I have been avoiding other server based solution.

Then you can apply this solution: install a server (as gate on RPi https://www.iridiummobile.net/gate/) with a separate (independent) project. It will work for the voice only and will not affect the panel project.

The solution suggested is an interesting alternative.

I do not see homekit/Siri support - What about homekit and Siri Voice assistant support?

Now we pass the certification procedure from Apple, so there is no official support. Once we finish certification, this module will be available again.
