iRidium Server check and backup

Is it possible to check if Iridium Server is open on windows? If for some reason it is closed, windows opens it again automatically.


Is it  possible to have a second windows pc with a server backup. For some reason, if first server fails another server start to run?

Hello.

The iRidium server for Windows cannot start as a service and it does not have a watchdog. You can monitor the presence of the imagename from the operating system, for example:

tasklist /fi "imagename eq iRidiumServer32.exe"

If imagename is found, then do nothing, otherwise start iRidiumServer32.exe. However, the more correct way is to find out the cause of the crash.

Hi,

I did it yesterday with a batch file, than I create a Task Scheduler. It's working! 

First I need to keep server always working, second I have to know about the crash. This is harder.


I'm try to find a way to Windows sends me email when server crashes.
