Do I need to activate the i3 PRO license in Iridium V2.

Hello!
No. The system of licensing of Iridium in the 3rd and 2nd versions is different. So you can't use the license from the 2nd version in the 3rd version. More about licensing for the 3rd version you can read on our Wikipedia.
