SIP and IOS Notifications / Push / Background fetch
Hi, just after an update on the status of SIP and IOS notifications.
I read on one of the help pages:
Not supported: receiving calls on iOS from remote devices, if the app is minimized for a long period of time.
Is this still the case or has there been a change that resolves this now?
Thanks,
Damian
Answer
There will be significant changes in work in the background mode. We'll post information on them later.

We plan to implement it but not in the nearest future as we have a lot of other tasks.

Guys, this feature surely must be implemented to bring iRidium-to-iRidium intercom (via SIP) to work.
Because, after i2control stopped in Background, there is absolutely no way to receive SIP call :(
It's called iOs background fetch (and background service for android).
Next week we will release push notification. You will be able to wake up the application on a call from the SIP (but we have not tested the mutual work SIP and push)
