Error when running server on Windows 7 (virtual machine)

When I try to run the Iridium Server on Windows 7 I get an error message saying that it can't find a hardware key, and it then exits.

What do you use as a platform? PC / laptop or a virtual machine

I use a virtual machine on VmWare ESXi.

We don't support VM.
