We are using server on win pc, where eth for control and wi-fi (to ISP) are used.
Server keeps conection to equipment with few instances of same custom AV driver.
All works fine if at server start up, and all phisical equipmet is online.
We got a problem if equipment at starting of server is not online, then after equipment goes online server still can't reach it. Wireshark shows server is not communicating euipment at least over ethernet intreface (wi-fi was not checked), while server log shows AV.send is called.
All look fine is wi-fi is disabled at server start up. So I suspect all problems comes from dinamic network interface engagement.
Can anybody comment on server multi network interface operation?
Can server be manually configured to stick to certain network interface?
Apreciate for any feedback
On Ubuntu 16.04
start iRidium: sudo ./iridium --hidden
It will run for a minute or so and then stops - connected clients go offline and system monitor no longer shows the iRidium process
is there anything else I need to do to get this to work as a daemon?
i have iridium server run on LM3-reactor 2.
Server+Visual License purchased and installed and it ran for about a day then it is disconnected. I have to log on web portal <ip address>:8888 and go to "restart server" to bring it back online. It happens to me 3 times in the last 3 days.
On the server web browser portal - > drivers -> logicMachine(Server) -> Driver Log -> Device Online field it says "online" but
On the server web browser portal - > drivers ->iridium Server-> Driver Log -> Device Online field it says "not online" (a day ago it says "online").
This is strange as Logic Machine (server) and iridium server are actually the same device on same IP address.
Anybody can shed somelight what happens?
where i can set the gateway adress of onbox server?
when i started in factory mode i could connect en see it appear in iridium transfer V3
but when i change it to static ip like explained in the documentation file then it doenst appear
anymore in the transfer list when i search.
this is what i tryed now setting up the gateway , hoping i can see it again appear:
# Configure Loopback
solved thanks to Theo,
Seems Gateway has to be writen without Big G! so for other users
adress : 192.168.0.xxx
On i2 i do a custom udp driver for connect an our gateway.
the driver send packet to gateway in singlecast (from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.150).
the gateway send packet to client in broadcast (from 192.168.0.150 to 192.168.0.255).
on i3 this driver can send packet from server to gateway, but it not receive packet from gateway.
i try set multicast options on driver, but it not work.
more, i try configure gateway for send packet directly on server ip, but i not see it on server (i use EVENT_RECEIVE_TEXT event).
