We have moved our support service to a new technical support system. Since 17.01.2022, we have disabled the ability to create appeals through the userecho personal account. Now all requests are processed via mail to support@iridi.com .

Thank you for your understanding and have a nice day.

Request to embed web pages

Jackie Roos 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Dmitry Shulgin 9 years ago 5
This is a standard feature in CBus, and has been requested several times. HomeGate and Schedule Plus both support embedding of iFrames.

We lost a quote to a mine in Western Australia as we could not show a webpage where the mine would update the data regularly to display to users

More recently we have been requested to embed http://www.quasar.co.nz/energy-management-software.html from Schneider Electric into an app.

Thanks

Token with name of Wifi-connection

Theo Derks - NL (distributor) 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Dmitry Shulgin 9 years ago 3
Hi,
At this moment we can check with Wifi-Token a panel is connected by Wifi or 3G.
But installer has the question: can we show with WHICH Wifi-network we are connected? In other words: to show the NAME of the connected WiFi?
This is to prevent errors: if the end-user is connecting the iPad or iPhone to another Wifi-network, it's possible the iRidium client is not working anymore, because the wrong IP-range is selected. With this new option (name of wifi) installer can check: is the panel connected with the right network with all home automation? if not --> give a warning like: "You connected to the wrong Wifi-network; please select the network 'xxxx' to connect to your home automation system".

Thanks

HWID changes, demo license invalidated

r riksma 9 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Thales Cavalcanti 9 years ago 25
the HWID keeps changing for me on multiple devices.
I use a demo license for my laptop, phone and iPad and all of them have changed multiple times now.
This happens every time i update an app and just now it happened for my iPad without any identifiable reason. I did install the old (non v2.2) version as well a while ago because i read this helps but it doesn't.
What can we do to manage this?

Connecting to an ssh server and sending commands to it

akorolev 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by a pivovarov 7 years ago 6
We have a ssh server in the network. Can we authorise ourselves (using login and password) for accessing it and send commands to it?

Disable scrolling (by swiping) in list

Benno Evers 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Ekaterina (head of support) 9 years ago 8
Hi,

It would be great if we have a possibility to disable the scrolling in a list. So the user cannot scroll by swiping the list up and down.
But scrolling the list from script should be possible all the time.
This way we can use the list as an 'container' to put some gui elements in by script.

Gesture - End and Change

Clayton Vicente 11 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Oksana (expert) 9 years ago 3
Hi
To make advanced things using gestures (control the mouse movement for example) we need to know when the gesture change and when the gesture finish.
Maybe you guys can insert two new events for gestures in the future.
IR.EVENT_GESTURE_END
IR.EVENT_GESTURE_CHANGE
This will let us to make more advanced things using gestures.
Thanks.

Project Tokens not saving when iRidium is not closed by normal user shutdown

Jackie Roos 9 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Oksana (expert) 9 years ago 3

See attached project 1d_array_save_load_in_token.irpz

1. Run emulator for the first time and token data is 0,0

2. Change token data to 1,1. Close iRidium. Open iRidium. Token Data still 1,1 as expected

Image 10848

3. Run Emulator and Change token data to 2,2:

Image 10847

4. Open task manager and end task on i2 Control

5. Run emulator - Token data is 1,1 but should be 2,2.

Image 10848

This happens on PC's running i2 Control when the PC is restarted eg from Windows updates.

I asked iRidium to FIX this, but they tell me "This is not a bug, the client is configured so that it saves the tokens when the normal shutdown."

To me this is a DESIGN BUG that needs to be fixed to save project tokens when they are CHANGED

Please vote to get this fixed

Rotating objects that are partly out of screen

Jansen, Stefan 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Oksana (expert) 10 years ago 2
Rotating an object through code (Angle property) gives strange results when the object is partly out of screen. Imagine a dial like this placed on the lowest part of the screen. The rotating needle will be made of a picture that is twice the height of the needle, with the 2nd part transparent, to get the center of the image (turning point) on the bottom of the visible needle.
When this dial is placed low on the screen, with the needle in vertical position, in such a way that the invisible part of the needle is outside the visible screen, then you will experience that the center of the image is apparently changed as the needle no longer turns like you would expect.

Value of resistance of a list seems to be ignored

Benno Evers 10 years ago in i2 Control V2.2 updated by Dmitry - support (expert) 6 years ago 4
The value of the resistance of a list (and static list) seems to be ignored.
According to the wiki the resistance could be a value between 0 and 100.
I can't see any difference when I set the resistance to 5, 50, 100 or whatever.
Tested on iPad and in emulator on version 2.2.2
