Intelligent Drag & Drop for Duotecno and HDL drivers
Hi
Duotecno is waiting for 2 years now for an promised feature: intelligent Drag & Drop.
This means: the installer select a node in the driver. In the node, several Commands and feedbacks are present: switch, dimm, temperature, etc.
With ONE drag & drop command, this 'node' is dropped on the group of items (switch, dimm, temperature buttons). This method saves the installer much, much time.
This feature is discussed and explained to Dmitry Shulgin and Anton Kamaev at ISE2015, and they know what Duotecno wants. They have all drawings how to do it, and in what way.
However, it's still not implemented in 3.0
Please implement this promised feature; it's usable for Duotecno installers, but also for HDL-installers.
Thanks
Theo
Indicating popup position in the Show popup macro
For example, I created a popup with thermostat and I want it to appear next to the button and not always at the same place. Or I want to activate a group of popups in one position when clicking on one button and in another position when clicking on another button.
Notepad in irpz
It is not convenient to store the information in a separate text file. It would be good to have a tab on the right, next to Device, Project - Notes. When clicking on it the window with notes could appear. And you could add, delete notes and mark them done with indication of time.
Importing DAP-files for Domintell
Hello,
In Domintell, now the installer has to go to the project to scan the Domintell-bus (connect the laptop to the installation and scan with the GUI Editor). This is not convinient.
Please add an option to import the DAP-files from Domintell directly in the GUI-editor, so the installer don't have to drive to the house of the end-user to scan the Domintell-bus.
Thanks

button item with scrollable text
It would be great to have a similar property to Wrap Text in a Button item called Scroll Text. When this is enabled and the length of the text exceeds the size of the button then the text becomes scrollable.
Thanks,
Roger

Iridium Server for Synology NAS?
hi,
i'am a user from the beginning, and i like whats going on with iRidium Mobile.
would it be possible to make a iRidiumServer version for the whole synology nas family too?
either as a normal programm package or as a docker? would be really really cool if it runs on the synology nas with two ethernet ports. so eth1 could be used as the normal "house"-lan port and eth2 could be connected to the ip/ethernet interface of the bus system. and in most cases, a nas is allready there and running 24/7, so why don't use it as the server? and its linux, and stable too...
thanks!
with best regards,
martin lang
Hello Martin,
We plan to support Synology and Qnap, but not in the first release
Set up the popup size not only with numbers
Hello,
It has been implemented from iRidium Studio 1.0.0.18511 (beta)
Printing the Command and Feedback
It would be nice if he had on option to print all the Command and Feedback variables including their Properties.
This way when you created hundreds of Variables you print them on paper or print them to a "file format" to be able to check if all your varibales are correct.
Because they would be all underneath each other it would be easy to find "typos" or other mistakes.
Now it is quite difficult to click trough every variable and check every value.
Some thing like this:
Command:
Light_DimValue_B1 / REAL / R / 500
Light_A1 / Bool / R / 100.0
Light_A2 / Bool / R / 100.1
Light_A3 / Bool / R / 100.2
.
.
.
Feedback:
Light_DimValue_B1 / REAL / R / 600
Return_Status_Light_A1 / Bool / R / 200.0
Return_Status_Light_A2 / Bool / R / 200.1
.
.
.
ALL Drivers NOT showing their correct state
Use the attached project,
Set the IP Address to the GC driver to local ip of the global cache device you have.
run the project
Device is shown online
Unplug the network connector from the global cache device
the device still shows in the emulator the device is connected.
Next, turn off\unplug the network cable on your system running the emulator so that there is no network access.
The emulator still shows that the global cache driver is connected.
Update::: I have tested this with KNX IP Router, this will timeout the connection when the timeout value is reached with both cases. It should put the driver into a offline state the moment the internet connection is down.
Then I tested this with the AV TCP driver, again the same as the GC Driver.
To conclude; firstly there should be a configurable timeout setting for all drivers like the KNX IP Router driver.
Secondly, the moment that the internet connection is lost, ie no wifi, wifi card turned off and with wired network connections, network card gets disabled or network cable unplugged then ALL drivers configured in the project should be pushed into an offline state.
Thanks,
Roger
